Standard First Aid and CPR C
Date posted: Jan 08/08 Posted by: Mr. Andrew Blake
ERT will be running another Standard First Aid and CPR C Course on January 19/20. This certification is good for two years and meets WSIB requirements. As you are thinking about getting your summer job lined up, know that SFA is an asset and many employers such as Summer Camps and Outdoor Education Centres require the certification of their staff.
Standard First Aid incorporates all Emergency First Aid Items, designed for those who require an in-depth understanding of first aid, including legal implications, spinals, heat or cold emergencies, bone and joint injuries, abdominal/chest injuries, burns and medical emergencies. CPR-C covers all aspects of CPR skills for adults, children and infants. This is also a requirement if you ever are looking to become a lifeguard. Help make the community a safer place. Register by visiting the Download Forms Section on the ERT Page and completing a registration form.
Please Contact Brodie Nolan,ert.extrainer@gmail.com, the course instructor or Andrew Blake, ERT Coordinator, ert@wlusu.com for more details
