'Lucky' Break with WLUSU
Name: Ken G. Harrison
Program: Business Administration
Being heavily involved in extracurricular activities within WLUSU has been an irreplaceable experience for Ken. Having twice been an Icebreaker and an avid supporter of the Laurier University Charity Kouncil he’s had the chance to take part in organizations that make a difference in the Laurier community and beyond. "I have an opportunity to have a hand in projects that make an impact on a large group of people, and it’s that opportunity to initiate change that keeps me motivated and keeps me coming back." His work as Head Deputy Returning Officer for the annual election was also an opportunity to help organize the voice of the students in a democratic election process.
Currently Ken is an executive for the Laurier University Charity Kouncil and looks forward to a heightened winter role as an executive assistant to this year’s Vice-Chair of the Board, Dan Hocking.
