About the A-Team
In the year 2000 a selected group of students were forced underground to bring WLUSU activities and entertainment like they’ve never seen before. They were known as the A-Team."
The A-Team stands for the Activities Team at Laurier and it is responsible for some seriously cool events on campus. We plan, promote and execute events on campus to help relieve the stresses of everyday academic life at Laurier. Throughout the school year this team of fourteen dedicated volunteers will bring you a range of activities from concerts to Comedy Nights to hit shows like Tony Lee the infamous XXX rated Hypnotist and of course CONCERTS. It is our goal to help meet the needs of every Laurier student so if you have always wanted to do something or see something please let us know, we would love to hear from you.
If you like what A-Team does but you don’t know what to do about it. Come out to one of our events or better yet get involved in what we do. How you ask? If you are a returning Laurier Student going into your 2nd, 3rd, 4th even 6th year look out for hiring for next year will take place after Reading Week 2009.
If you are a first year student who likes what they saw with the night events during Orientation Week 2008 look out for hiring on the WLUSU website starting soon after Orientation Week. This year we will be hiring three first year students to complete our 2008-2009 team!
Every event we put on is guaranteed to be awesome and every event we put on is guaranteed to be memorable so when you see us in the halls, in class or around Waterloo, stop and talk to us about what is coming up so you can join in the party. See you out there!!!
