Shinerama was started at Wilfrid Laurier University back in 1961, by one student who wanted to make a difference. Now every year, first year students take to the streets of Kitchener Waterloo to shine shoes, cars and windows as a fun way to raise money for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
