Brantford Activities Team

Although university life can be tough, the many social events and charity functions planned by the Brantford Activities Team make it easier for students to enjoy their time here at Laurier.Attending these various activities is a great way for students to meet new people and have some fun. Aside from all the classes, assignments, and exams the Activities team and WLUSU believes that students should have a good time. This is why the Brantford Activities Team or B.A.T was formed.
Each year the B.A.T brings students a diverse range of activities and entertainment. Basically we are in charge of planning various social activities for the students to enjoy. Some of these past activities have included theme nights such as Halloween, Welcome Back - High School Stereotypes, and a Hawaiian year end party, various performers like Tony Lee are brought in and there is an annual formal banquet just to name a few. There are also plenty of smaller activities for students to enjoy such as Survivor, a charity fashion show, a float in the Brantford Holiday Parade and trips to Paramount Canada’s Wonderland. Each of these events are specifically planned with the enjoyment of each student attending in mind. If there’s something that you want to see happen here at Laurier approach the students union and we will do our best to make you idea a reality.
If you have any questions about BAT or events you would like to see on campus please contact the Coordinator Rob Davidson at brantfordactivities@wlusu.com
