As Vice President: Finance and Administration, Shady oversees a department of three full-time staff members. Sanjay compiles both the interim and operating budgets for WLUSU, which together are worth close to $10 million. He also handles the signing of cheques, expense requisitions, selects our investments, oversees sponsorship, and prepares periodic financial reports for the WLUSU Board of Directors.

In addition, Shady sits on a number of external committies in the university, ensuring sound communication between WLU Administration and the Students’ Union.
