The Universal Bus Pass program is a result of a referendum held in February 2005 in Waterloo and 2007 in Brantford in which the majority of voting students supported the Universal Bus Pass program and as well the mandatory fee per term. The program gives each full-time undergraduate and graduate Wilfrid Laurier University student at the Waterloo and Brantford campuses unlimited transit travel on GRT or Brantford Transit conventional services for the duration of one school term. The fall term of the program runs from September 1st - December 31st and the winter term runs from January 1st - April 30th.
