Does my online application count for anything?
ANSWER
Yes - it does! Everything you do in the application process is cumulative and helps us decide whether or not you should be hired onto the committee.
As a general guide, the mark you receive on your online application helps us rank your application and determine whether or not you receive an interview. Once you have been interviewed we enter your interview marks into the online system, adding them to your online application marks. If you have completed a creative component these marks are added to your overall mark as well.
In the end, the VP:HR reviews the marks of the various applicants and provides the committee coordinator with a list of applicants (which they use during deliberations re: who to hire).
