Graphic Design Volunteer Positions

Volunteering with the Graphic Design department does not require you to have ANY previous design experience. All you need is background experience with computers (word processing is fine) and creativity of any kind.

The Graphic Design department uses Adobe software products such as Illustrator 10.0, Photoshop 7.0 and Photoshop Elements 2.0, as well as other programs like Quark XPress 5.0 and Corel Draw 10.0. Training will be provided for all new Graphic Design volunteers on department process and the basics of Adobe software.

The Graphic Design Committee Uses the Adobe Creative Suite 2.0 (Currently). Training on the CS2 group of programs will be provided for all new volunteers on this software and the processes used within the Committee.

Volunteers are each assigned a department to work with. They are fully trained on all programs, procedures and regulations that they will need for the position. Once trained, designers are responsible for all promotional requests from within their department. As a team, we are all here to help each other. Creativity, originality and a good concept and understanding of layout and design are important assets to this position.
