Waterloo, ON, November 12, 2008-Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union’s Public Relations Committee is looking for Laurier student entrepreneurs to take part as vendors in their bi-annual Student Marketplace. PR members will be in the Concourse and Hall of Fame recruiting and promoting the event November 12th and 13th. Student Marketplace will take place on November 26th and 27th in the Concourse.
The Student Marketplace is an event that provides a free booth in the Concourse for any Laurier student looking for an opportunity to sell their product or service, and also gives all students a chance to check and purchase many unique and exciting products from their fellow students. Vendor applications are due November 19th and can be found under the Student Marketplace link on www.wlusu.com/marketing/public.
PR’s Media Executive Jenn Dillon encourages students to get involved in this great event, "Student Marketplace is an excellent opportunity for students to take advantage of a free booth in the concourse and showcase their talents. We had many student-entrepreneurs last year and they all felt that it was a great chance to gain awareness for their products or services. We encourage students to sign up again!"
