WLUSU’s Public Relations to hold spring Student Marketplace event

            WATERLOO – On Thursday, March 13^th, 2008, WLUSU’s Public Relations committee will be holding their bi-annual Student Marketplace event. This event will take place in the Concourse and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

Student Marketplace is the most anticipated and signature event brought to you every year by the Public Relations committee. This exciting day will feature young entrepreneurs who are looking to promote their growing business and unique talents to the Laurier student body. Student Marketplace is a one-day only event and is absolutely FREE for any Laurier student to partake in! Any interested students should apply online by March 11^th using the Student Marketplace Vendor Application located at the following link: https://www.wlusu.com/marketing/public/mrktplace/marketplace.htm.This event is a great opportunity for FREE exposure for you and your product, service, or business.

“We had a successful Student Marketplace last term and this term we are hoping to build upon that,” said Public Relations Coordinator Jayne Thompson. “It's an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their businesses and talents free of charge. And if you aren't an entrepreneur, make sure you come support your fellow students by seeing what they have to offer!”
