BACCHUS Promotes Aids Awareness Week with Guest Speaker

WATERLOO – On Wednesday November 28^th Laurier's BACCHUS committee will be continuing their events for AIDS Awareness Week. BACCHUS is proud to present a guest speaker from the AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo Area. All students are invited to attend the event, which will be held at 4:30pm in the Bricker Academic building (BA110).

The guest speaker will provide information, inspiration and compassion on the topic of AIDS/HIV. BACCHUS will continue to promote AIDS awareness in the concourse until Friday November 30^th. The BACCHUS committee’s campaign “We are the face of AIDS” helps students become more socially aware of how AIDS is very apparent in our world today.

BACCHUS Marketing Executive Krista Boniface says, "As a committee, we truly hope you can come out and show that the face of AIDS is undefined as it impacts us all."
