About
The main responsibility of the Office of the President is to oversee the day-to-day administration of WLUSU through the management of 8 student executives and 15 full time staff members. The President also spends much of their time working with WLU administration to ensure every student has a positive experience. First Year Council also falls under the portfolio of the President.
I’m a fifth year history student at Wilfrid Laurier, and ever since setting foot on campus I’ve taken a great interest in improving student life at WLU.
Prior to serving as WLUSU President I served as Chair of the WLU Student Publications Board of Directors, and spent two years on the WLU Senate serving one year on its Executive Committee. I was also Treasurer of the LSPIRG Board of Directors. I also previously served two terms on the WLUSU Board of Directors and in my time on the Board served on the Constitutional and Operational Development Committee, the External Affairs Committee, and as Chair of the ad-hoc Environmental Sustainability Committee.
Outside of WLU I am a huge Toronto Argonauts fan, follow both Canadian and American politics probably a bit too much, and love Scuba diving.
Student representation has been a passion of mine from the beginning of my university career and I am so happy to serve in the role of WLUSU President this year to continue helping improve the student experience here at Wilfrid Laurier University.
