·        Next week is Bacchus’ Stress Relief Campaign.  It’s happening in the concourse from March 12 - 14 and they are cooperating with Peer Helpline and tutorial services to bring helpful de-stressing tips to students during this stressful time.  Some of the issues they will be focusing on include healthy eating, physical activity and media options!  So if you need a breather, head on over to the concourse on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday and let the friendly people from Bacchus help you out!

·        Next week is also a big week for Fashion n Motion! The annual performance, with this year’s theme of “Lost and Found”, is happening Thursday March 15th, Friday March 16th, and Saturday March 17th, every night at 7:30 pm and there is a matinee on Saturday at 2 pm.  It’s a great event full of high energy and amazing dancing and the money raised is going to fight Diabetes!  Tickets cost 12$ for all shows except for the Saturday night show which you can see for the special price of $10! You can get your tickets on Monday in the concourse, all next week in the C-spot or at the door on the day of the show!!!

·        Foot Patrol is providing celebrity walks on Tuesday March 13th.  If you need to get somewhere late at night, why not have the mayor of waterloo, the dean of students, or the WLUSU president make sure you get there safely! Remember, no walk is too short or too long! Just head over to the foot patrol booth on the third floor of the FNCC.

·        The Rainbow Centre is presenting the Oath of Silence Day on March 14th, 2007.  Participants will take an oath of silence for one full day and will be visible to the community by wearing an Oath of Silence Day bandana across their mouths. The day is geared to advocate for, create awareness about, and give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.  For more info you can email: oathofsilencewlu@gmail.com.

·        March 16th 2007 is Laurier Day! All prospective students can come to the Laurier campus for free tours and info.  There will be chances to attend sessions for all faculties and programs, meet professors and students, and learn about activities and clubs available for you to join
